Frequently Asked Questions
- Will I be "cured" in one session? It depends on what you are asking help with. Some issues are pretty simple and can be attended to with one session. Many issues are more complex and require a few sessions to get at all of the aspects that are contributing to your distress. Tapping prayer is a spiritual tool that can be applied to a wide variety of issues. It is not a "one shot cure all."
- Can I use prayer tapping on physical pain? Yes. Many physical aches and pains are exacerbated by spiritual or emotional distress. Tapping prayer can lessen the discomfort and allow you to live more peacefully with the condition you are experiencing. Moving from a 10 of pain to a 4 of pain is a significant blessing!
- If tapping prayer helps me, should I stop taking medications prescribed by my physician? No. You may experience a dramatic change in how you feel while practicing tapping prayer. Please consult your professional and talk to him/her about how tapping prayer is affecting you.
- Do you offer one on one tapping prayer? Yes. If you live within traveling distance we can arrange to meet, or, if you live farther away we can prayer tap via Skype. Contact me about this issue using the button above.
- Do you teach tapping prayer to groups? Yes. See above.
- Do you charge for tapping prayer? Yes. I have a sliding scale that has a high end of $80 per 75 minute session for an individual, fully refundable if you do not feel like tapping prayer "worked" for you.
- Will I get in trouble with my faith community for using tapping prayer? I hope not! Tapping prayer is another way of focusing God's healing love on a particular problem or concern. It is like the prayers you learned in Sunday School or in church. It has ritual and an intention of communicating your concerns to a higher power that I describe as: God. Nothing new there. The healing you experience with tapping prayer, however, may be so sudden that it is jarring to you. Take a moment to consider that God is behind the healing. God's caring has facilitated this healing moment. It is much like in other forms of prayer, only faster. If you are still concerned, try prayer tapping on that concern.
- What church do you serve? I am a minister ordained in the United Church of Christ.

I am Level 2 trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Level 1 certified with the Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology. I have been trained in Strategies for Trauma And Resilience Level 1 at the Brookfield Institute. As of May 2013 I have over 100 hours of practice in the field.
